Thabure Media Group (TMG) is looking for an experienced sales officer to sell advertising space, printing and distribution services.
OBJECTIVE
The sales officer allows you to explore three (3) areas of sales and marketing within our sales department to find out where you can succeed and have the greatest impact.
EXPECTATIONS
- Hands-on sales responsibilities outside the office,
- Become proficient in sales, advertising, marketing and promotions,
- Contribute to the development and execution of new marketing materials, campaigns and events to help drive new business,
- Play an integral role in helping to drive significant and measurable revenue growth while building key relationships with potential clients,
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations that address the core business issues and opportunities faced by our prospects
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
. At least three (3) year experience in sales, advertising or marketing related duties and a proof of good track record on meeting set targets.
. Must have good database of potential clients/customers and a contact list in the private, non-governmental and governmental organisations.
. At least diploma or degree in sales, advertising or marketing related studies.
. Must enjoy the challenge of prospecting, cold calling, winning business, and selling ideas based on the client’s needs,
. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills,
. Must have ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment driven by measurable results,
. Must be passionate and self-motivated with a constant drive to succeed no matter what,
. Must be presentable, ethical and a person of high morals and integrity,
. A three year old valid driver’s license an added advantage,
. Must have ability to overcome adversity.
