The candidate will be responsible for sales generated and budgets met in East and West Africa for the Pig, Poultry and Aqua portfolio, with various Key Account Managers reporting to this position. The position requires 75% travel time within the region. The position reports to the Business Unit Manager.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
Achieving sales as agreed by targets,
Managing sales staff (Key Account Managers),
Monthly sales forecasting,
Managing customer expectations and customer satisfaction,
Developing strategies to increase sales and market penetration within the region,
Developing a highly skilled and motivated sales force,
Coaching sales force,
monitoring MAXX usage and completing FTA analysis monthly as part of managing sales force effectiveness,
Provide training to sales people and customers as required,
Implementing marketing plans and launching new products,
Developing portfolio mix required to suit individual markets,
Identifying and assisting sales people to manage Key Accounts,
Maintaining correct procedure for Adverse Event and Pharmacovigilance within the team.
Knowledge and experience required:
Sales experience (at least 5 years).
Sales manager experience will be beneficial.
Education – Relevant tertiary qualification.
Experience in agricultural, veterinary, poultry and/or swine fields would be beneficial.
Skills required:
Fluent in English,
sales management,
personnel management.
French would be beneficial.
