Position: Sales Manager

Job Overview

This role is responsible for new client acquisition and revenue growth, while maintaining a competitive edge. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for maximizing our sales team’s potential; and crafting and implementing sales plans that meet the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Participate in the development of Naledi Funeral Planners’ strategic plan and implement sales strategic objectives.
  • Day-to-day management of the Sales team to ensure they are on track in achieving the set targets.
  • Create tactical plans for the sales team for achieving sales objectives.
  • Build and manage a highly effective sales force and oversee training and performance programs
  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures strong brand presence in the market.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being  fully aware of new products and competition status.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a sales Management position
  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience
  • Proven track record of positive sales performance
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong business acumen and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
