The Sales Liaison Assistant is responsible for overall administrative support to the Vice President, Sales Liaison Africa, including agenda and travels whilst overseeing the general administration of the office. Also to assist the Vice President with overall support related to product availability reports, client grid reports and other reporting as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements

Sales Support

  • Work closely with the Vice President, Sales Liaison: Africa
  • Prepare availability reports per client/region/country, sales history reports, client grids,

track and compile Features and Series premier dates and all kind of useful reporting;

  • Work with internal reporting systems as assigned (SAFE, GlobalForce, etc.);
  • Work with the Vice President Sales Liaison to track, compile and submit budget reports;
  • Work with the Vice President Sales Liaison to coordinate and manage client requests;
  • Coordinate communication between clients/sales liaisons and Finance and Legal departments in Amsterdam and London;
  • Provide market research and reviews to Vice President Sales Liaison;
  • Organize and update the screener tracking report on a weekly basis.

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support for various projects including PowerPoint and other presentation materials;
  • Perform general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, faxing, scanning, photocopying and creating binders;
  • Maintain office records/files;
  • Handle incoming/outgoing telephone calls;
  • Process and prepare client letters and packages;
  • Administer, order and track office supplies;
  • Process payment requests for department invoices and expenses. Close relationship with the Finance department in Amsterdam;
  • Manage calendar and coordinate meetings/conference calls;
  • Maintain and update client database

Markets and travels

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and schedules for Vice President Sales Liaison
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings for markets (LA SCREENINGS, MIPCOM, DISCOP,

etc).Assistance

  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned;
  • Assist with client presentations, meetings and translations;
  • Act as liaison between TVD sales liaisons and internal departments (i.e., Finance, Legal, Marketing, Distribution/Material, New Media, Home Video, Formats).
  • Assist with organizing client screenings and managing the NBCUniversal stand at markets.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience within a Sales media environment and working with budgets preferred;
  • Experience/knowledge of TV & Film industries considered advantageous and preferred;
  • Genuine strong interest for TV Series and Movies is valuable
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organisational skills;
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, work to tight deadlines and under pressure;
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones & territories;
  • Ability & willingness to learn new computer systems;
  • Great interpersonal skills.
