Sales Executive

The candidate for this position will have to excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By. using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers. We are looking for an experienced sales executive in the pharmaceutical sector that develops and retains relationships with natural ease. The person should be highly motivated with a focus on delivery and reward against financial targets. The position will suit an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible team player who is commercially minded and driven.

Key Requirements, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Develop new strategies to engage the market
  • Sales forecast and analysis
  • Analysis of sales matrix to determine whether current sales are effective
  • Conduct in-depth research on competitors’ products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests
  • Develop industry and sector proposals that speak to a client’s needs and objectives
  • Identify growth opportunities for campaigns and distribution channels that lead to an increase in the company’s portfolio size
  • Manage referral sources to maintain high performance targets
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities by means of networking and referrals
  • Develop and nurture client relationships to deliver growth
  • Develop new business referral sources and clients by cold calling and other suggested tactics within the market
  • Utilize your strong and active lead referral network to enable rapid growth in the company’s portfolio
  • Work on your own initiative to identify and pursue new target markets
  • Represent us at trade shows, industry functions and relevant corporate events new client recruitment and credit usage optimisation
  • Manage each new client originated as part of the company’s portfolio
  • Working knowledge of CRM software used to collect and retrieve details of customers and products
  • Ability to conduct market research
  • In depth knowledge of products the company’s produces
  • Good knowledge of the following tools CRM, Sage and Pastel Accounting
  • Training of sales representatives

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum of 3 to 10 years’ experience in the commercial finance market

A valid Code B driver’s license

• Demonstrates past success in growing B2B books
• Demonstrates past success in maximizing credit limit usage

• Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Very strong work ethic
• Able to analyze and present financial information
• Is fluent in English and Sesotho (Spoken and written)

Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields, Business Management, Administration Marketing and Communication

Minimum of 3 to 10 years’ experience in the commercial finance market
