VACANCY: Sales and Operations Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

Assist in ensuring that sales plan are implemented accordingly monitor and evaluate their implementation sell tracker products Lesotho and services and manage post purchase oriented approach. Identify potential customers and assist with the selling process, handle customer queries and meet turnaround times, develop all sales and operation department policies and Standard Operating procedures when need arises, supervise HR, ADMIN and Finance Department Staff.

Under the direct Supervision of the Managing Director, the Sales and Operations Manager hall perform these duties but not limited to the following:

SALES

  • Identify potential key markets for Tracker Lesotho
  • Develop key sales strategies for the various market segments
  • Establish and maintain new sales channels and relationships
  • Maintains positive business and customer relationships in the effort to extent customer lifetime value
  • Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way
  • Develop necessary plans to ensure departments meet their agreed goals and objectives
  • Find ways to improve the quality of customer service

SUPERVISION OF HR& ADMIN AND FINANE DEPARTMENTS

  • Oversee the general operations of the Tracker’s facilities and personnel including transportation, security, rental of housing and security services, and other needs as they may arise.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the HR& Administrative department and Finance staff members, including performance appraisals in accordance with Tracker’s Performance Management System.
  • Develop, review and Improve administrative systems, policies and procedures, and ensure that all Tracker personnel are aware of and adhere to such policies.
  • Work with Finance and management teams to set budgets for the department and monitor department spending.
  • Facilitate local and international travel arrangements for staff members, and applications for work permits, and resident permits on behalf of international staff and volunteers.
  • Track and report key functional metrics within the department to reduce expense and improve effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field with at least 5 year’s working experience
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
  • Must be a citizen of Lesotho
  • No criminal record

  • Senior management or leadership experience in administration or a related field, with exceptional leadership and time, task and resource management skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computers, particularly Microsoft office applications
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Familiarity with budget planning and enforcement, human resources and customer service procedures
  • Willingness to continue building skills through educational opportunities
