Position: Sales and Marketing Manager
Purpose of the job: To generate revenue for the corporation through the BEDCO Carpentry Workshop. To research and develop Marketing opportunities and plan and implement new sales plans.
Reporting to : The Chief Financial Officer
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, manage and coach marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing objectives
- Prepare annual budgets abs schedule and manage expenditures
- Define the mechanisms for monitoring and measuring business unit performance and monitors progress on key measure taking remedial action on areas of non-performance
- Ensure that sales teams meet their quota and goals
- Manage the development, application and improvement of the business unit control environment including data integrity and risk management
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual reports to the BEDCO EXCO
- Increase workshop’s brand awareness and market share
- Develop marketing strategies and plans for the workshop’s products
- Promote workshop’s existing products and introduce new products to the market to improve sales
- Research and develop Marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends and implementing improvements
- Develop and optimize pricing strategies
- Analyse market trends and prepare forecasts
- Oversee branding, advertising and promotional campaigns
- Analyse current market and identify new markets abs potential clients
Qualifications and Experience - Bachelors Degree in Marketing or equivalent
- 3- 5 year’s experience in sales and marketing (experience in management will an added advantage)

Term of contract
The position will be a 1(one)year fixed term contract
