Position: Sales and Marketing Manager

Job Summary
The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for the planning, development and execution the company’s sales and marketing strategy in accordance with set company standards and objectives as well as market trends. The incumbent will further be responsible for effective and efficient management of the marketing, sales, advertising and promotional activities of the company.

Detailed Responsibilities and Duties shall include, but not limited to the following;
a) Participate in the development of the overall company strategy;
b) Responsible to identifying potential future market opportunities as well as growing the value of currently existing customer base;
c) Responsible for supervising the performance of both the Sales and Marketing departments;
d) Responsible for the design, marketing, pricing, improvement, packaging and retail of both existing and new products and services;
e) Responsible for the development of the Marketing and Sales strategic objectives;
f) Responsible for all product and market research initiatives;
g) Oversees the overall NFP brand management activities and events, both internally and externally;
h) Shall be responsible for negotiating and liaising with third party marketing agencies and stakeholders;
i) Shall monitoring and review accordingly, the sales and marketing budget implementation in line with company plans, objectives and activities. and realizing the return on investment

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
a) Degree in Marketing and/or equivalent professional qualification;
b) A minimum of 5 years experience in all aspects of developing and managing sales and marketing strategies, 2 of which should have been at a managerial level;
c) At least 3 years experience in the related field;
d) Technical marketing (including digital) skills;
e) Proven experience and track record in product, customer and market research;
f) Relevant product and industry knowledge;
g) Experience with relevant software applications;
h) Demonstrated experience in achieving membership targets and proven success in a similar position.

a) Ability to organize work, manage time, and complete multiple tasks with attention to detail;
b) Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
c) Demonstrated high computer literacy including knowledge of software packages with point of sale systems and MS;
d) Ability and confidence to network and build rapport quickly with all stakeholders;
e) Demonstrated knowledge of current industry practices and trends;
f) Proven ability in completing administrative functions and tasks as required.
