The main goal of the Marketing intern is to build brand awareness, drive traffic, and ensure all marketing campaigns are up and running successfully. This role is responsible for creating and executing regional initiatives to deliver on these goals. The NY Marketing Intern will act as a brand and marketing liaison for the NY region, and the upkeep of the campaigns we have for our different events. This role involves creating multiple marketing campaigns with the various websites that we use.
The role will be approximately 24 hours/week at $12/hour.
Responsibilities
– Act as the brand and marketing liaison for NY Region, engaging new customers
– Regularly visit online sites to ensure information is correct
– Understand regional sales and store level performance
Skills & Requirements
– In need of college credits
– Experience in hospitality, project management, or event production preferred
– Highly driven and self-motivated
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external communication
– Excellent interpersonal skills are a must with a customer centric mindset
– Ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams
– Experience in executing sales and/or marketing initiatives
– Possess creativity and flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as needed
– Ability to travel across designated market, work on your feet, and lift 20 pounds
– Local market knowledge and a passion for the nightlife and hospitality industry are a plus
