We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales and Business Development Officer to join our growing team. The individual in this role will be responsible for calling prospective customers, explaining our services, and guiding them through their purchase process. We are seeking a candidate who is persuasive, energetic, and ready to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
JOB PURPOSE:
The purpose of the sales and business development officer is to build a solid a sales pipeline and build a strong customer base for Dust Busters. To determine the best strategies to increase customer purchases. They also assist management in developing reasonable sales goals, oversee the activities of sales team, and collaborate with marketing personnel to expand brand presence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
Identify prospects, maintain customer relationships and identify ways to grow the company’s sales figures.
TASKS
• Facilitate cold and warm calls to prospective leads; schedule and follow through on calls with leads and current customers
• Screening, recruiting, and training sales employees
• Source and build on customer referrals
• Answer all lead and customer questions accurately; prioritize and/or escalate lead and customer questions as needed
• Perform cost-benefit analysis for prospective customers and advise on appropriate purchase options
• Promote specific products and services as directed by management
• Inform leads and customers of current promotions and discounts
• Maintain positive business and customer relationships in the effort to extend customer lifetime value
• Develop strategies for more effective sales, both individually and as part of a team
• Ability to use the CRM and accounting software to update and generate sales innvoices.
• Track all appointments, sales, complaints, status reports, etc. thoroughly for manager review
• Self-improve continuously by way of experience and manager feedback

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
2 years’ experience in sales, business marketing and brand management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Diploma or degree in marketing, sales, communications, public relations or similar
