RESPONSIBLE TO : QUARTER MASTER
MAIN DUTY
Under the general supervision of Quarter Master, the incumbent is in charge with the repairs and maintenances of all leather and saddlery equipment issued to Lesotho Mounted Police Service.
DUTIES
• Repairs the LMPS tents.
• Repairs the Police Boots and belts.
• Repairs of saddles and saddle bags.
• Advices Quarter Master on the procurement of saddlery equipment.
• Advices Quarter Master on the disposal of unserviceable saddlery equipment.
• Prepares and submits monthly reports on work done.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Certificate in Leather Works or any equivalent.
• Must be skilled in the use of saddlery tools.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• Must be safety conscious.
