The Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA) invites applications from suitably qualified local candidates for the position of Risk Manager. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

JOB PURPOSE
Communicates risk policies and processes for the Authority. Provides hands-on development of risk models involving operational risks. Assures controls are operating effectively, and provides research and analytical support.

Responsible for ensuring that policies, procedures and systems of the Authority comply with regulatory and ethical laws and acceptable international standards. Performs regular audits, implements company policies, and designs control systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s degree with 10 years’ experience or Master’s degree and 5 years’ experience :

• Risk Management
• Business Management
• Finance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Analytical skills and an eye for detail
• Commercial awareness
• Planning and organizational skills
• Ability to understand business process management
• Communication and presentation skills
• Team work
