Through Rise Against Hunger Philippines’ Farm to Fork initiative, the organisation is implementing contract farming, which involves the hiring of small-scale indigenous farmers to provide vegetables for use in Rise Against Hunger meals. With this strategy in place, farmers grow food to support their families, and excess harvest is consolidated and sold at fair market prices to the Negrese Volunteers for Change Foundation, which then dehydrates the vegetables for Rise Against Hunger’s meals.
Events and Marketing Co-ordinator.
Rise Against Hunger seeks to appoint an Events and Marketing Co-ordinator to be based in Cape Town.
The purpose of the position is to oversee, process and co-ordinate and facilitate all events, promotions, and marketing relating to Rise Against Hunger Africa.

- Events (handling all aspects of events, including pre/post-event admin and logistics)

Required
- Matric or relevant tertiary qualification.
- 2-4 years’ experience working in a marketing & events position.
- Have knowledge of social media marketing.
- Creativity and Innovation.
- Team work
- Knowledge of Google Drives/Docs
- Drivers license (Code 10 preferred)
