Request for Quotations (RFQ): Supply of Folding Tables, Chairs & Gazebos
1.0 Background Information and Context
The Christian Health Association of Lesotho (CHAL) is a voluntary association of Christian churches providing not-for-profit health care services to Basotho. Established in 1974 under the Society’s Act of the Kingdom of Lesotho, CHAL comprises six member churches:
- Roman Catholic Church
- Lesotho Evangelical Church
- Bible Covenant
- Assemblies of God
- Seventh Day Adventist Church
- Anglican Church in Lesotho
CHAL operates 8 hospitals, 4 schools of nursing, and 71 health centers, delivering approximately 40% of Lesotho’s healthcare services, particularly in rural and peri-urban areas. The CHAL Secretariat coordinates member institutions and facilitates partnerships for support.
1.1 Overview of the Assignment
CHAL seeks to engage a supplier to provide visibility materials to support integrated vaccination services, especially in hard-to-reach areas. The materials will help ensure shelter and operational efficiency during vaccination campaigns.
2.0 Assignment Objectives
The supplier is expected to deliver the following items:
- 74 Branded Gazebos (600cm x 400cm) with four (4) full-color logos
- 74 Folding Tables (120cm x 75cm)
- 222 Folding Chairs
3.0 Supplier Profile Requirements
Interested suppliers (individuals or organizations) must:
- Have at least 3 years of experience in the relevant business
- Demonstrate a good reputation and proficiency in their area of specialty
- Provide a portfolio of evidence of past work
4.0 Time Frame
The assignment must be completed within 10 days, including weekends, from the date of purchase order receipt.
5.0 Proposal Specifications
Applicants must submit:
- A detailed quotation for the requested items
- A valid tax clearance certificate
- A trader’s license

7.0 Evaluation and Award
Proposals will be evaluated based on technical and financial feasibility. CHAL reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal without providing reasons and is not bound to accept the lowest or highest bid.
