REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS (RFQ 2025/26)
The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) invites quotations from suitably qualified and interested companies for the supply, delivery, and installation of seven (7) air conditioners, allocated as follows:
- Three (3) for the Commissioners’ Office
- One (1) for the Director of Elections
- Three (3) for Boardrooms at Election House
SPECIFICATIONS
1. General Description
Fravega air conditioners are high-wall split inverter systems designed for residential and light commercial applications, including offices, server rooms, and institutional buildings.
2. Typical Capacity Range
- Cooling capacity: Approximately 9,000 BTU to 24,000 BTU (2.6 kW – 7.0 kW)
- Heating capacity: Approximately 9,000 BTU to 24,000 BTU (2.6 kW – 7.0 kW)
- Capacity depends on the specific model selected.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- Prices must be VAT inclusive for suppliers registered for VAT (VAT registration certificate to be attached).
- Attach a valid Business Identity Card.
- Attach a valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- IEC is not bound to accept the lowest price.
- Specifications must be written in full on the quotation.
- Provide the IBR number.
- Indicate lead time on the quotation.
- Quotations must be on official letterhead or bear the company stamp.
- Prices must be quoted in Maloti currency.
- Companies are not allowed to use the IEC logo without authorization.
- Payment will be processed after delivery of service.
SITE VISIT / INSPECTION
A site visit will take place at Election House, Maseru West (IEC Headquarters) next to Busybee School, on Thursday at 11:00 AM, for inspection purposes.
