The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the COVID-19 Strategic Preparedness and Response Program (SPRP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for LOT 1.The proposed Alterations, Renovations and conversion of Mafeteng Mental Ward into ICU ward for preparation of COVID-19 Patients. LOT 2. The proposed Alterations, Renovations and conversion of Mafeteng TB Ward into COVID- 19 patients Ward.
The Ministry of Health now invites request for quotations for renovations as per line 1.
Bidding will be conducted through request for quotations (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” January 2017 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain complete RFQ documents and information from Ministry of Health, Ground Floor, Procurement unit, contact Procurement Specialist or Project Engineer at [email protected] and [email protected] RFQ documents will only be send by email. No flash drives or hard copies will be issued.
Fully compliant quotations from construction firms must be delivered to the address below on or before Friday 22nd May, 2020 16:30p.m.. Late Bids will be rejected. Ministry of health has advertised two rehabilitation works which is Lot 1 and Lot 2, Bidders may choose to bid for any lot or both lots but only one lot shall be awarded to the lowest evaluated competitive bidder. All bids should be labeled as per the contract tittle stated above. One Original and 0ne Copy.
Bidding documents shall be available from 19/05/2020
The Ministry of Health also reserves the right to cancel the tenders before the submission postpone the tender submission/opening date and to accept or reject any or all tenders. The Ministry is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
