Project Title
Reconstruction and Reroofing of Houses Affected by Strong Winds
Background
The Disaster Management Authority requests quotations from eligible contractors to re-construct three (3) two-roomed houses affected by strong winds in Maseru, Maletsunyane.
Quotations bearing no identification of the contractor must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
“QUOTATIONS FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF HOUSES AFFECTED BY STRONG WINDS”
Quotations must be deposited at their respective DMA District Offices.
No submissions will be accepted at DMA Headquarters, Maseru.
No contractor may bid for all available houses. However, one contractor may bid for all houses. No contractor shall be awarded more than one house except in cases where the total number of houses exceeds the number of eligible contractors.
All contractors are eligible to bid for any house or LOT within the country. Procurement participation shall not be restricted to the contractor’s district of origin, in accordance with the principles of open competition and non-discriminatory procurement.
Mandatory Requirements
The suppliers must submit quotations together with the following documents:
• Valid copy of Tax Clearance Certificate
• Copy of valid Trader’s License
• IBR Number
• Certificate of category C/D from B.D.S
• Shareholders Identification Documents (IDs)
• Bidders should note that alternative bids/quotations will not be accepted
• Compulsory site visit
It is mandatory to submit all the above required documents.

Bidders who do not comply with any or all of the above conditions will be disqualified.
