Request for Quotations for Provision of Logistics Services to Dismount, Package and Transport Incinerators from Sankatana, Scott and Maluti Hospitals to Lebakeng, ‘Matsaile and Nohana Health Centres
Ministry of Finance and Development Planning – Project Management Unit
The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning – Project Management Unit has received funding from the Global Fund for the fight against HIV and AIDS, Tuberculosis and Covid-19 in Lesotho. Part of the proceeds will be used to pay for the procurement of logistics services to dismount, package, and transport incinerators from Sankatana, Scott and Maluti hospitals to Lebakeng, ‘Matsaile and Nohana health centres.
Logistics Service Providers are invited to submit their most competitive quotations for the provision of these services.
1. Requirements
a. Valid relevant Trader’s Licence/Business Identity Card
b. Valid relevant Tax Clearance Certificate
c. VAT Registration Certificate (where applicable)
d. Mandatory site inspection at Sankatana Health Centre on 19th November 2025 at 11:00 hrs
1.1 Other Conditions and Requirements:
• Company Profile including contact details (name of contact person, email, telephone number)
• Quotation validity (not less than 60 days)
• Demonstrable documentary evidence of experience in providing similar logistics services
• Proposed delivery time
2. Scope of Work
The selected service provider will be required to:
• Dismount and safely package the incinerators and associated accessories, stalks/chimneys
• Transport the incinerators, accessories and stalks between the following sites:

3. Eligibility – Who Should Apply
Qualified Logistics Service Providers with proven experience in handling and transporting heavy and specialised equipment are invited to submit quotations.
Transport specifications:

| Alternative | Low-bed trailer (recommended for long-distance or difficult terrain) |
| Loading/Offloading Equipment | Forklift or 3–5-ton crane |
| Securing Method | Heavy-duty straps, chocks, protective padding |
| Weather Protection | Waterproof tarpaulin during transport |
| Route Clearance | Minimum: 2.3 m height × 1.22 m width |
4. Quotation Price
Quotation must include a clear breakdown of each costed item.
The quotation price shall cover all costs for dismounting, packaging and transporting the incinerators from Sankatana, Scott and Maluti hospitals to Lebakeng, Matsaile and Nohana health centres.
Quotations MUST show:
• Cost breakdown
• All duties, taxes and levies indicated separately
Each Service Provider shall submit only one quotation. No alternative quotations are allowed.
5. Provision of Service
Logistics services are expected within a maximum of seven (7) days from the date of receipt of the purchase order.

8. Submission of Quotations
Quotations MUST be deposited in the quotation box situated at the reception area at the following address, on or before 21st November 2025 at 12:00 hrs:

PMU is not bound to award the contract to the lowest price or any price. PMU reserves the right to make the final decision.
