REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS (RFQ)
REHABILITATION OF MASERU CENTRAL PARK GRUBBING & SITE CLEARANCE
The Maseru City Council invites Plant Hire Contractors to submit competitive quotations for the provision of the following equipment and services for the rehabilitation of Maseru Central Park:
1. EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
- 10 Cubic Tipper Trucks: Four (4) units
- Excavator 19-20 tonnes: One (1) unit
- TLB (Tractor-Loader-Backhoe) 4 x 4: One (1) unit
2. SCOPE OF WORK
- Grubbing and site clearance
- Removal and disposal of debris to Ts’osane Dump site or any other areas to be specified, but not exceeding 10kms away from Maseru Central Park
- Levelling and preparation of the site
3. SUBMISSION DETAILS

4. QUOTATION REQUIREMENTS
- Company profile & valid business license
- Tax Clearance
- Proof of Payment for Municipal Service Fees (MSFs)
- Rates per hour/day/week (including operator & fuel)
- Proof of previous similar work experience
- Availability of equipment during the project period
5. EVALUATION CRITERIA
- Competitive pricing
- Equipment availability & condition
- Contractor experience & reliability
Interested contractors should submit their quotations in sealed envelopes clearly marked: “RFQ FOR PLANT HIRE – MASERU CENTRAL PARK REHABILITATION”. Late submissions will not be considered.
Maseru City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation.
