Transaction Advisors Pre-Qualification
DAI, the implementer of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Southern Africa Trade & Investment Hub (Hub) project, which is a five-year trade and investment facilitation project, currently in its fourth year of implementation. The Hub is seeking proposals from firms and organizations with experience in facilitating private equity, mezzanine finance, debt, trade finance, other investments or finance solutions such as transaction advice or mechanisms that connect the needs of both the financier/investor and the investee with working experience in South Africa and one or more of the Hub’s eight target countries in the region: Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, and Zambia to provide Transaction Advisory services which will result in the related to increase in investment (capital and technology).
The Hub seeks to increase sustainable economic growth, global export competitiveness, and trade in targeted Southern African countries through increased exports from targeted southern African countries into South Africa, increased investments from South Africa to targeted southern African countries, and sustainable utilization of AGOA opportunities by targeted southern Africa countries.
The Hub recognizes that all bidders may not be able to fulfill each aspect of this RFP therefore bidders are encouraged to focus their responses to this solicitation on technical and geographic areas in which they have demonstrated ability to deliver proven results and services. In addition, Bidders may also look to build a consortium that would comprise multiple organizations/firms submitting a single proposal (refer to RFP document for detailed requirements).
