REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) – SERVICES

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Lesotho invites eligible and qualified companies to submit proposals for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of critical electrical and ICT infrastructure equipment in support of the Ministry of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation (MICSTI).
SCOPE OF THE RFP
The Request for Proposal is structured into two lots:
LOT 1:
Supply and Installation of Two (2) Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)
This includes delivery, installation, integration with existing electrical and generator systems, testing, commissioning, staff training, and submission of all relevant documentation.
LOT 2:
Supply and Installation of Equipment at Distribution Points
This includes supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and training for the following equipment at MICSTI distribution points:
• Anti-static mats
• Cooling systems
• Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units
• Access control and surveillance systems
• Fire suppression systems
All equipment must comply with the technical specifications outlined in the full RFP document.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Interested bidders must:
• Be legally registered and licensed to operate in Lesotho
• Demonstrate experience in at least three similar installations within the last five years
• Have the capacity to supply, install, test, commission, and support the required equipment
• Provide staff training and complete technical documentation

Technical and Financial proposals must be submitted separately. Proposals submitted incorrectly or after the deadline will not be considered.

Queries will be accepted up to five (5) days from the date of the RFP advertisement.
IMPORTANT NOTES
• UNICEF reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal
• Late submissions will not be accepted
• All costs must be all-inclusive and fixed for the contract duration

All proposals must be submitted no later than: 26 December 2025 at 23:59 hrs
