Consulting Firm to Undertake a Baseline Needs Assessment (Survey)
Economic Inclusion Program (EIP)
- Introduction
The Pathways to Sustainable Livelihoods Project (PSLP) is a 5-year intervention funded by the Ministry of Gender, Youth and Social Development, aimed at improving the efficiency and equity of selected social assistance programs and to strengthen the livelihoods of poor and vulnerable households. This is to be realized in alignment with the Government of Lesotho goals; NSDP II (2021-2031), the NSPS II (2021 – 2031), and the World Bank Group Country Partnership Framework for Lesotho. CRS Lesotho is the prime recipient of the component 1A of the PSLP– Economic Inclusion Program (EIP) funding, with Caritas Lesotho, Dunamus Agri Advisory, and Doorways sub-contractors. In consortium, the agencies will implement the EIP through the promotion of economic inclusion activities to achieve strengthened livelihoods in five selected community councils. The consortium will work in close collaboration with the Ministry of Gender, Youth, and Social Development (MGYSD) to create an enabling environment for the efficient delivery of the project. It is against this backdrop that the Economic Inclusion Program requests the services of an experienced, independent third-party consulting firm to conduct a baseline survey/Needs assessment for a minimum of 2500 program beneficiaries.
2. Offer Deadline
The deadline for receiving proposals is 5pm 6-09-2024. Bidders shall submit their proposals electronically by email only to: [email protected]
Bidders are responsible for ensuring that their offers are received in accordance with the instructions stated herein. Late offers may be considered at the discretion of CRS. CRS cannot guarantee that late offers will be considered.
3. Submission of Offers
Separate technical and financial proposals must be submitted by email no later than the time and date specified in 2 above. The proposals must be submitted to the point of contact designated in 2 above.
The Bidder must submit the proposals electronically in a pdf format. Bidders must not submit zipped files. Those pages requiring original manual signatures should be scanned and sent in PDF format as an email attachment.
