Job Description
-As a Rewards Specialist, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting research and benchmarking to drive a Total Rewards strategy
  • Manage all information and governance related to the allocation and vesting of shares, deferred cash bonuses and ESOP payments on the applicable platform
  • Assist the Reward Manager in managing the governance of the full end-to-end reward function as well as driving efficient reward operations and administration
  • Provide effective reward system support related to Reward and Remuneration matters
  • Act as the liaison between the business and the relevant Global Shared Services teams
  • Assist with driving efficient reward operations and administration
  • Provide advice and consult with stakeholders related to reward policies and practices

This position is in the Shared Services department at a Band 6 level reporting to the Reward Manager.

  • Qualifications
    -Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Finance or other related fields or NQF Level 7 equivalent

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Human Resources with specific experience required in reward management
  • Good experience in reward-related reporting both internally and externally
  • Good experience in relevant HRIS and Reward-related system
  • Good experience in administration in relation to share schemes and ESOPs
  • Valid driver’s license

Your technical skills will include:

  • In depth knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Protection of Personal Information Act and other relevant legislation
