Job Description
Totalcare Pharmacy is seeking a qualified and licensed Retail Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy Honours (B.Pharm Hons) to join our team in Maseru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately
• Provide professional advice on drug interactions, dosage, and side effects
• Maintain proper inventory control and manage pharmacy stock
• Ensure compliance with Lesotho’s pharmaceutical laws and ethical standards
• Offer excellent customer service and health consultations
• Supervise pharmacy support staff
• Maintain patient records and confidentiality
Requirements
• Bachelor of Pharmacy Honours (B.Pharm Hons) from a recognized institution
• Valid Lesotho Pharmacist Retention Certificate
• Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
