Key tasks during this Consultancy:
Contracts and partnerships tools review
- Review current dataflow of contract management system and propose and implement improvements within the current system requirements
- Engage with key teams (finance, programmes innovation quality management) to understand strengths and weaknesses of current grants management tools
- Socialise updated systems and processes with teams as required
- Pilot improvements with year-end grants reporting requirements
- Review donor prospecting dataflow and knowledge management tools, propose and pilot improvements
Grants and partnership data analysis
- Review Resourcing and Sustainability Strategy targets and Costed Strategy reporting targets and ensure grants management tools are equipped to deliver necessary data for monitoring and reporting to leadership and board
Key requirements
- Demonstrated experience with contract management, donor compliance process and systems improvement
- Familiarity with resourcing and accountability standards across civil society and related best practice
- Dataflow and systems oriented
- Proficiency in Excel, Sharepoint and Microsoft office and familiarity with Smartsheets an asset
- Ability to work remotely with diverse teams
Deliverables
- Comprehensive dataflow assessment report identifying bottlenecks and areas of improvement in quality, accuracy and efficiency
- Grants Management Tools Improvement Proposal containing a list of proposed enhancements, rationale, and anticipated benefits and a step-by-step guide to implement improvements
- Pilot and/or implementation of some improvements implemented if applicable
