NICRO is conducting baseline research in KwaMashu, KZN, and requires the services of a ‘Research Field Worker Supervisor’ for a period of approximately 8-10 weeks.

Duties:
Attending research training, provided by NICRO
Managing research field team (5 field workers and 1 data capturer)
Implementing and ensure quality control protocols
Liaising with the NICRO staff regarding access to the schools and other structures participating in the research
Providing ongoing support and guidance to the research team
Ensure due dates for the research are attained
Liaise with NICRO Manager
Requirements:
Tertiary degree in social sciences
Fluent in written and spoken English and IsiZulu
Driver’s license and own transport
A minimum of 5 years research field work experience
A minimum of 3 years of supervising research field work
Sound understanding of standard research quality control processes and methods
