DISASTER MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY (DMA)
REQUEST FOR SHORT-TERM HIRE OF TEN-TON TRUCKS AND DATA COMPILATION OF VEHICLES
RFQ No.: RFQ NO.1 OF 2026/2027
The Government of Lesotho has allocated funds for the 2026/2027 financial year, part of which will be used to hire trucks to facilitate the distribution of food commodities across the country, including transporting food grains to and from various FMU stores nationwide and supporting the Prime Minister’s outreach programmes.
Interested service providers are invited to present their trucks for inspection and submit the required documentation.

COMPULSORY TRUCK INSPECTION
All bidders shall present the proposed trucks for inspection at the Disaster Management Authority (DMA) district offices according to the following schedule:

- Vehicle Registration Certificate
- Business Identification Documents / Trader’s Licence
- National Identity Card (for individuals)
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- Valid Comprehensive Insurance Certificate
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The new Government of Lesotho standard rates for short-term hire of trucks will be applied for these contracts.
