1. Bid Price: The prices may be quoted in Maloti or any freely convertible currency of the member countries of the World Bank. Corrections, if any, shall be made by crossing out, initialing, dating and re-writing. Bidders should quote for all items in a lot of their choice for their bid to be responsive.
2. Quotation Validity: Quotations shall remain valid for a period not less than 30 days after the deadline date specified for submission.
3. Delivery Period: Services should be completed within 2 weeks of the award of the Contract at the address indicated in paragraph 9 below.
4. Attachments: Quotations must be accompanied by valid copies of a valid trader’s license, and certified copies of VAT clearance certificate for Lesotho companies. Bidders who collect VAT must submit valid VAT certificates.
5. Selection Criteria: Price of Goods and compliance with the specifications.
6. Penalties: If the Supplier awarded the contract to supply the items under this order fails to deliver or complete all delivery within the period stated in the quotation, a penalty will be charged at 0.005% per week up to a maximum of 0.02% at which the order will be cancelled in writing by the Purchaser.
7. Each bidder shall submit only one quotation. Sealed quotation shall be submitted in writing at the address, before the date and time mentioned in paragraph 9 below.
8. Quotations shall give a comprehensive description of the proposed items, clearly indicating name, model, make etc, and should be accompanied by technical information in English, such as leaflets, brochures or catalog pages where necessary.
9. You are requested to provide your offer on or before 13th February 2025 not later than 1600hr(am), delivered by hand in an envelope addressed as follows:
