Request for Proposals for Development of LNDC Site Located within Maseru CBD at Plot No. 12284-353

The LNDC is seeking proposals from private sector development entities to deliver solutions that drive economic development, sustainability, and community well-being. The earmarked site is located at Plot no.12284-353 (Ex-Sanlam Centre), located within Maseru CBD along Kingsway Road and is well-suited for mixed-use development incorporating office, retail, residential and parking.
Interested and eligible bidders may purchase the tender document by paying a non-refundable fee of M2,000.00 (Two thousand Maloti). The tender document will be available to the public from 15th of August 2023. For more information email [email protected].
Suitability of the bidders will be assessment through and /or not limited to:
- Demonstrate prior property development experience on minimum 5 projects of not less than M100m
- The key experts must include but not be limited to Professional Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, Property Experts, and Building Contractors with not less than ten years of experience.
- Innovative and creative concepts which include green technologies.
- Capacity building of smaller local contractors.
- Evidence of Financial capacity.
Proposals must be deposited in the tender box situated at 1st floor LNDC Development House Block A reception area and by email to [email protected] on or before Friday 29 September 2023 at 12:30pm. Submissions received after the deadline will be disqualified. Bids will be opened publicly at 2:30 pm same day 29 September 2023.
All bids must be accompanied by valid traders’ licence, tax clearance and power of attorney for the authorised signatory.
The LNDC reserves the right to cancel the tender, reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof. The corporation is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
