The Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) invites proposals from suitably qualified and experienced Architectural firms or multidisciplinary Engineering consultancy firms to produce and issue as-built drawings for LNDC factory building in Mafeteng and LNDC Centre Office Block in Maseru.
A mandatory site visit and briefing meeting will be held on the 18th August 2023:
Mafeteng Factory
Time: 10:00hrs
Assembly point: Next to Brewery depot along Van Rooyens Road
LNDC Centre
Time: 14:30hrs
Assembly point: Infront of Shoprite

The firm and key experts should possess the following qualifications and experience:
Firm Experience
At least 5 years’ general experience, and provide a list of relevant and similar projects undertaken in the past. If experience is through a Joint Venture, the bidder should indicate the exact level of participation.
Team leader
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the field and hold a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Studies.
Civil Engineer
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar assignments and hold a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
Electrical Engineer
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar assignments and hold a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Evaluation will be conducted through the Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS)
Two separate envelopes clearly labelled “Technical” and “Financial Proposals” must be deposited in the tender box situated at 1 st floor LNDC Development House Block A reception area and by email to [email protected] on or before Friday 8th September 2023 at 12:30pm. Submissions received after the deadline will be disqualified. Bids will be opened publicly at 14:30hrs same day 08 September 2023 in the audio visual room 7th Floor.
All bids must be accompanied by valid traders’ licence, tax clearance and power of attorney for the authorised signatory.
The LNDC reserves the right to cancel the tender, reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof. The corporation is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
