REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: MICRO ASSESSMENT of FOUR (4) UNICEF IMPLEMENTING PARTNERS
1. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
The Micro Assessment will assess the Implementing Partners financial management capacity (i.e. accounting, procurement, reporting, internal controls, etc.) to determine the overall risk rating and assurance activities. This assessment will be done for four UNICEF IP.
The two primary outputs of the Micro Assessment are:
a) An overall risk rating related to cash transfers to each IP.
b) Appropriate type and frequency of assurance activities and Cash Transfer Modality (CTM) based on UNICEF business models.
2. SCOPE OF WORK
The Micro Assessment will be performed by a third-party service provider and will involve remote or physical assessment of the IP. The Micro Assessment primarily consists of interviews with the IP personnel and a review of relevant documentation sufficient to complete the Micro Assessment Questionnaire for the following implementing partners:
1. Mantsopa Institute
2. Skillshare Lesotho
3. Lesotho National Federation of Organizations of the Disabled
4. Network of Early Childhood Development of Lesotho
