- Purpose: Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Lesotho intends to solicit Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suppliers and businesses within Lesotho. The EOI process will lead to selected bidding for organization’s whose EOIs meet CRS Lesotho requirements. A response to this Request for Expression of Interest does not automatically qualify bidders to participate in the next phase of the procurement process. CRS Lesotho reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. CRS also reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing the final solicitation documents.

PLEASE NOTE THAT PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO SUPPLIERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WHO ARE ELIGIBLE AND HAVE CAPACITY TO PERFOM AND HAVE PROVIDED CLEAR EVIDENCE OF PAST EXPERIENCE PERFORMANCE.
VENDOR SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Company profile/proposal including names and contact details of key personnel;
- Evidence of valid company registration with Ministry of Trade/Certificate of Incorporation
- Value Added / Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificate;
- Evidence of Corporate office address, phone numbers, email address;
- Evidence of financial capability and banker’s Reference letter; audited financial statements for the last 3 years
- Verifiable list of previous/similar supplies/services carried out in the recent past including names and contact telephone numbers/emails.
METHOD OF SUBMISSION:
Vendors that meet the above requirements should submit their Expressions of Interest which should include history of previous job done with similar organization and detailed company profiles.

- The deadline for submission of interest documents is 12.00pm on September 16th, 2022
- CRS Lesotho is neither committed nor obliged to include any company and/or associated companies, agents, or contractor on any bid list.
- Be aware that this invitation to express interest does not guarantee that you will be requested to submit all other subsequent offers to CRS Lesotho; it does not constitute any form of agreement or contract between our organizations.
- CRS Lesotho shall not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this invitation.
- This request for expression of interest shall not be construed as a commitment by CRS Lesotho nor shall it entitle respondents to claim any indemnity from CRS Lesotho by having responded to this advertisement.
- This invitation is for you to express your interest in the supply of the above items/services and does not warrant any further feedback from CRS Lesotho hereafter.
- Multiple expressions of interest from one source/firm will not be accepted.
- Only the shortlisted firms that meet the evaluation criteria in accordance with CRS Lesotho pre-qualification, due diligence, and bidding procedures will be contacted following this exercise.
- CRS shall conduct a due diligence check at the business premises of successful suppliers and service providers before any award is given.
- Eligible Women and small-scale entrepreneurs are encouraged to submit their expression of interest.
- Failure to comply with these instructions may lead to disqualification.
- This call for Expression of Interest does not constitute a solicitation. We do not require proposals and prices at this stage; we merely seek your expression of interest in participating in the tender.
