REQUEST FOR BUSINESS PROFILES
The Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) has the core mandate to “initiate, promote and facilitate the development of manufacturing and processing industries, mining and commerce in a manner calculated to raise the level of income and employment in Lesotho.” This mandate stems from the LNDC Act No. 20 of 1967, as amended by LNDC Act No. 13 of 1990 and LNDC Act No. 7 of 2000.
LNDC, therefore requests companies/sole traders who are interested in providing services to the Corporation to submit their business profiles as per the listed services categories to update its database.
Business profiles should be accompanied by:
a) Valid tax clearance certificate
b) Valid and relevant traders/operating licenses certified at source
c) Certificate of incorporation (where applicable)
d) Two recently and successfully completed relevant contracts with their value amount
e) Reference letters from two different and recently served organizations
a) Reference should include the following information from the referees:
• Name and surname
• Position of referee
• Email address
• Phone numbers
• Description of assignment/job
• Date and duration of assignment/job
• Value of the assignment/job
• Location of assignment/job
This invitation is not a tender request for any services but a business profile request for potential future engagements which will still follow a full procurement process.
Hand delivered profile documents should be submitted in envelopes clearly marked “Business Profile for 2020-2021 Financial Year”. Those send by email should have a clear heading as “Business Profile for 2020-2021 Financial Year”
