Framework contract
- The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho has additional financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Southern Africa Tuberculosis Health System Support Project in Lesotho and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for proposed establishment of screening rooms at hospitals main entrance.
- The Ministry of Healthnow invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of a contractors for constructions of 10 Solid screening structures for the hospitals.

- Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, edition of January 2011, revised July 2014 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Health, Ground Floor, Procurement unit, contact Procurement Specialist or Project Engineer at [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0800 to 1600 hours at the address given below.
- The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written email application to the following email address: [email protected] and there after payment of a nonrefundable fee as per table 1 in line 2. The method of payment will be Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Cash Deposit at the bank to the account issued upon received of your email application.
- Proof of payment should be submitted to the Project Accounting Unit 1st Floor (PAU1, 2&3) at Ministry of Health, Head Quarters Maseru thereafter collect the Bidding Document at Procurement Unit Ground Floor.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Wednesday 12th April 2023 10:30am Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 1040hours at Auditorium room Level 4. Ministry of Health Headquarters Wednesday 12th April 2023. Bidders may choose to bid for any lot or all lots but only one lot shall be awarded to the lowest evaluated competitive bidder. All bids should be labeled as per the contract tittle stated above. One Original and three Copies.
- All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of LsL5,000.00 per each lot. Bank Guarantee, Printing Traders Licenses and Tax Clearance Certificate, Singed and stamped Bid form and Power of Attorney.
- The Ministry of Health also reserves the right to cancel the tenders before the submission or opening of tenders, postpone the tender submission/opening date and to accept or reject any or all tenders. The Ministry is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
