REPAIRMAN (Wage Group E / Scale 16)
Sappi Ngodwana Mill seeks to employ suitably qualified applicants as Repairman to follow a Repairman to Artisan Conversion program to allow existing Sappi employees the opportunity to qualify as artisans in the Millwright, Fitter, Instrumentation and Electrical trades as stipulated and prescribed in the Repairmen to Artisan Conversion Program and in line with the requirements described by the relevant Training Authority
REPORTING TO the Manager Mechanical
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Successfully complete all Institutionalised training in relevant trade as per requirements
- Engage in practical exposure as required
- Successfully complete trade test at the end of the training phases
KEY COMPETENCIES / SKILLS
- Technical aptitude and interest
- Basic computer literacy advantageous
- Self – motivated and energetic
- Attention to detail
- Action orientated
- Self – Knowledge
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Relevant NQF4 qualification with Mathematics and Physical Science
- Experience None Required
- Valid driving license
