Avalanche Consulting is bidding for a groundbreaking opportunity in one of the largest water projects currently underway in Lesotho. This opportunity is still at the bidding stage.
Avalanche Consulting invites CVs from Basotho for the following position:
Renewable Energy Engineer (Electrical / Mechatronics or Equivalent)
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- Registered as a Professional Engineering Technologist or equivalent.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-graduate experience in the design of renewable energy systems, including solar systems.
- At least 5 years’ experience working in developing countries or similar environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design alternative electrification systems, including solar systems for rural villages.
- Prepare bills of quantities, methods of measurement, and cost estimates.
- Provide technical support during construction supervision.
