REMUNERATION & BENEFITS OFFICER In the Human Resources and Administration Division

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Lesotho Nationals for the above-mentioned position. The positions will be tenable at the Head Office in Maseru. The incumbent will be responsible to the Human Resources Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
• A Degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration or related field.
• A relevant post graduate qualification will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role (remuneration and benefits field).
• Excellent computer literacy.
• Working knowledge of local labour legislation, especially as it pertains to position responsibilities
• Must have a valid driver’s licence.
• Excellent interpersonal and personal skills.
• Methodical and disciplined approach to work.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Extremely organised.
• Good reporting skills.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The incumbent will be responsible for performing, amongst others, the following:
• Implementing and advising on the reward component of the Company’s retention strategy.
• Managing and maintenance of sound human resources information systems (HRIS).
• Communicating and advising on policies, procedures and regulations as well as rules of the Provident Fund Scheme and Medical Aid Schemes.
• Remuneration and Benefits Section, HR Departmental, and overall Company remuneration and benefits budget compilation and monitoring.
• Ensuring the resolution of payroll related queries.
• Managing and reconciling payroll input processes for error-free and duly authorised monthly payroll runs.
• Producing yearly, monthly and ad hoc reports related to leave, severance, salaries and benefits, among others.
