Remuneration & Benefits Clerk (2 positions) In the Human Resources & Administration Division

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Lesotho Nationals for the above-mentioned positions. The incumbents will report to the Remuneration & Benefits Officer. The positions is tenable at LEC Headquarters in Maseru.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A Diploma in Human Resources Management or related field.
• Degree in Human Resources Management will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE PROGRESSION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• A Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in remuneration and benefits issues.
• Excellent computer literacy
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent interpersonal and personal skills.
• Methodical and disciplined approach to work.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Extremely organised.
• Good reporting skills.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

The incumbents will be responsible for performing, amongst others, the following:

• Maintaining sound performance of human resources information systems.
• Consolidating all payroll inputs and capturing them in the payroll system.
• Compiling monthly organisational staff compliment.
• Liaising with third parties in resolving payroll related queries.
• Processing payment of terminal benefits.
• Receiving and effecting all deductions relating to third parties.
• Reconciling all third party payments as well as provident fund deductions made to the Administrator.
• Attending staff queries related to payroll.
• Producing monthly reports related to payroll.
• Filing all source documents.
