DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced medical scribe to join our growing team of remote documentation specialists. Candidates for this remote position must have 5+ years of experience working across medical specialties, experience with various electronic health record (EHR) programs, and a drive to deliver high-quality documentation.
JOB DUTIES
- Input provider-patient encounters and traditional dictations into EHR
- Coordinate with Account Lead to adjust to providers’ charting preferences
- Maintain smooth account status by meeting quality expectations
- Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 5+ years of experience as a medical scribe (or transcriptionist with EHR experience)
- Proficiency with eClinicalWorks, Epic or comparable EHR
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word
- Strong attention to detail in spelling, grammar, punctuation
- Ability to adjust to a new skill set
- Knowledge of medical terminology (dermatology is a plus)
