Report to Base is seeking 2 interns to assist in the expansion of our website.
About Report to Base
Report to Base is an online resource for military personnel and their family members to provide information about U.S. bases, government programs, community details and events, military news, and educational information.
About the Position
Interns will work in the web design department researching and adding content to the website. The position requires you to work independently, gather information from the web, write concise paragraphs using that information, insert it into our website in the format that we have established, and create links to the outside sources. You are required to work at least 15 hours per week, but the schedule is very flexible.
Requirements:
- MUST be an undergraduate student studying web design, informatics, social media, digital content management or related field
- Basic understanding of web design principles
- Available at least 15 hours per week
- Experience with WordPress and Elementor a plus, but not required
Skills:
- Strong written and oral communication
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Motivated self-starter able to work independently
- Detail-oriented
