Remote Government Grants Specialist

The Government Grants Specialist is a remote position. They will assist the Chief Strategy and Development Officer in applying for grants and creating budget plans for schools. This individual must be able to work flexible hours and have access to their own high-speed Internet.

  • Coordinate strategic budgeting plans with the Chief Strategy and Development Officer.
  • Constantly researching and authoring applications for grant opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the organizations platform to perform tasks and complete grant applications successfully.
  • Travels to different meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
  • Ensure grant application processes are on track with the strategic plan.
  • Meet deadlines and complete tasks.
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Education or Business field
  • 2-4 years working experience in budgeting, grant writing, and/or education sector
  • Stellar writing, research, and project development skills
  • Ability to work under pressure under an entrepreneurial discipline
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws
  • Ability to analyze budgets
  • Cohere to ethical standards, integrity and good judgement
  • Expertise in web-based applications such as Excel and Word
  • Punctual, dependable, compassionate and humble
