Job Title: Registered Nurse
Location : Maseru
Main Duties :
– Taking and interpreting vital signs
– Conducting health education and distributing information, education and communication materials
– Patient consultation and treatment of minor aliments, attending to emergencies and making proper referrals where applicable
– Monitoring clients with non- communicable diseases and refill of appropriate medications
– HTS, ART corner, antenatal and family planning and conduct dressings
– Waste Management and general infection control
– Engage in immunization campaigns for target population
– Perform cervical cancer screening
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
– Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery
– Registration with Lesotho Nursing Council
– Prior clinical work experience in providing primary health care services including HIV care and treatment/PMTCT services
– At least 5 years experience as a registered nurse-Midwife
