You will work with journalists and media, through press releases and by responding to media enquiries. Internally you will contribute to VSO’s communications output through the website, social media, publications and other channels. You will work closely with colleagues in programming and advocacy to source stories and case studies and to develop an understanding of VSO’s position on key policy issues.
The ideal candidate should have minimum 3 years experience with media and communication in an international development organization and dealing with press.
This a remote role, based in any of the following Southern Africa countries: Eswatini, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe with a right to work in any one of these countries. Please check VSO’s website for the respective benchmark salary.
