GROW Educare Centresis an innovative non-profit company which has the vision to bring 5 Star early learning to every neighbourhood in South Africa. To achieve this vision, we create an ecosystem for Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres that ensures children receive high quality early learning and ECD centre owners run professional and sustainable businesses.

GROW Educare seeks to appoint a dynamic leader with excellent interpersonal and business skills as well as knowledge of the ECD sector to manage our Regional Office in Midrand. You will be accountable for ensuring the implementation of business, operational and educational outcomes in the region.

Remuneration: R30 000 per month with Group Assurance benefits.

Responsibilities:
Manage the strategic implementation plan for the region.
Management of the regional team
Market the GROW 5 Steps to 5 Star ECD programme in the ECD sector and recruit ECD centres and ECD support organisations to adopt the GROW Mobile App.
Conduct financial viability assessments of ECD centres.
Encourage and support qualifying ECD centres to progress within the 5 Steps to 5 Star ECD programme.
Establish and maintain relationships with DSD, government departments as well as ECD support organisations and ECD forums.
Provide support and guidance to ECD owners in the implementation and use of the business-related aspects of the GROW Mobile App.
Analyse attendance and business reports from the Grow Mobile App and develop strategies and action plans to address issues.
Provide mentoring and guidance to centres in their financial and business operations to ensure the business sustainability of their ECD Centres.
Conduct annual compliance checks at ECD centres.
Assist centres in the application process for registration/reregistration and government subsidy applications with the Department of Social Development (DSD) and monitor progress.
Facilitate financial, business and life skills training for franchisees.
Requirements and Competencies:
A relevant tertiary qualification
At least 10 years working experience, within the business as well as ECD sectors
Business savvy and financial acumen
Experience and knowledge of financial reporting, budgets, bookkeeping etc
Experience in facilitating training
Strong people management, development and interpersonal skills
Strong planning and organisational skills and able to meet deadlines
Decisiveness, initiative, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office suite and comfortable with technology
English speaking, ability to speak Tswana or Zulu will be an advantage.
