The Freedom Prize invites young people aged 15 to 25 from France and around the world to choose an inspiring person or organization, committed to an exemplary fight for freedom. What makes this prize so special is that it involves young people at each of its stages: from the proposals submitted to the international panel of judges to the final selection of the winner.
A key stage of the Freedom Prize, the call for proposals ‘Our Freedom Prize 2021’ offers the opportunity to 15-25 years olds from all over the world to present, in a form, the person or organization whose fight for the freedom they wish to defend. freedom.
The 2021 Freedom Prize can be a person or an organization, media or unknown. He / She must have carried out at least one concrete action during the last three years.
All the elements transcribed in the form “Our Freedom Prize 2021” will be used by the international jury of the Freedom Prize which will meet on February 12 & 13, 2021 in Caen to study all the proposals received and select the 3 people or organizations that will be put to the online vote from March 15 to April 25, 2021.

2021 Freedom Prize ceremony
The laureate of the Freedom Prize will receive an endowment of € 25,000 to support their fight during an award ceremony that will take place in Caen as part of the Normandy World Peace Forum in June 2021.
