REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Refurbishment of Metropolitan Lesotho Kingsway Office
Metropolitan Lesotho hereby invites interested and suitably qualified contractors to submit proposals for the refurbishment of its Kingsway Office, located in Maseru.
1. Project Overview
The scope of work includes but is not limited to:
- General interior refurbishment
- Electrical and plumbing works
- Painting and finishes
- Any structural or design modifications as specified in the BOQ
Interested contractors are expected to carry out the works with minimal disruption to business operations and maintain the highest standards of quality, health, and safety throughout the project duration.
2. Submission Requirements
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: “Refurbishment of Metropolitan Lesotho Kingsway Office – Tender Bid.” Each submission must include the following documents:
- Original Completed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and one copy
- Certified copy of a valid Trader’s License
- Certified copy of a valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- Proposed Programme of Works & Method Statement
3. Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following:
- Compliance with submission requirements
- Experience and capability of the contractor
- Proposed methodology and programme of works
- Financial competitiveness
- References from previous projects
4. Submission Deadline
All proposals must be delivered to the Metropolitan Lesotho Head Office Reception, Kingsway, Maseru, no later than Wednesday, the 05th May 2025 at 16:30. Late submissions will not be considered.
5. Site Visit
A compulsory site visit and briefing session will be held on the 28th April 2025, at 11:00 am at the project site. Interested bidders must attend in order to be eligible.
