Requirements

A Grade 12 certificate. A qualification in Archives or Records Management or a related field will be an added advantage. Candidates must be computer literate as well as ability to read, write and interprete policies and procedures. Understand the following legislative frameworks POPI Act, PAIA and PAJA. Strong physique and ability to perform any other reasonable duty assigned by the supervisor. Candidates should be able to work under very dusty and humid conditions.

Duties

The incumbents will be responsible for the collection and transferring of records to storage and scanning area. Listing and capturing of records. Lifting and pushing of trolleys with boxes full of records. Maintaining the courtesy of records. Conducting file audit. Securing information and safe keeping of records. Scanning records to the system. Performing information appraisal and disposal.
