JOB PURPOSEProvide proficient reception function in support of Enterprise banking team. The receptionist will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for identifying clients’ needs for onward submission to relevant personnel. She/he will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Welcome clients warmly at reception area
- Identify client needs upon arrival and direct them to the right personnel
- Ensure customers at reception area are attended to by the rightful personnel
- Ensure customers fill in their details in the call log register including their contact details
- Ensure reception area is neat and a professional look is maintained
- Ensure that customer complaints are brought to the attention of the relevant manager or staff member immediately
- Identify cross-selling opportunities
- Attend to customer queries promptly and professionally
- Attend to ad-hoc customer enquiries promptly and professionally
- Ensure up to date promotional displays and information pamphlets in the Business Banking area
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned
- Ensures that all documentation received from the customer for KYC is authentic and scanned into relevant platforms
- Adheres to applicable legislative, regulatory and compliance risk requirements (e.g., National Credit Act, Consumer Protection Act, etc.)
- Completes all compliance training within the agreed timelines.
- Ensure that serviced clients at reception are KYC compliant
- Data for clients who come to reception should be corrected
- Participates in creating an environment in which learning and development are emphasised and valued.
- Develops and maintains an open communication channel with colleagues to foster greater co-operation and teamwork.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Business Commerce or equvalent
- 5 Years experience
