Position Summary
Under the direction of the Manager, the role of the Receipts Reconciliation Specialist is to provide support and assist with managing claims receipts reconciliation from the beginning of a claim until it is closed via edjuster’s software – exclaim.
Key Responsibilities
Operating from their appropriately set up and equipped home-based office, the responsibilities of the Receipts Reconciliation Specialist include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Review new claims and receipts on exclaim.
  • Liaise with adjusters to coordinate communication with insureds.
  • Process the receipts in a timely manner. File, copy, and send receipts to and from adjusters.
  • Prepare accurate receipt reports and send them to adjusters.
  • Upload all reports and correspondence with adjusters to the claim folder/ file.
  • Respond to queries from adjusters, insureds and employees about the receipt reports.
  • Prepare work logs on exclaim.
  • Perform other related tasks as required from time to time.

Essential Requirements

  • A Secondary School diploma
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office/Outlook/Excel, etc.)
  • Be able to provide an adequate workspace, free of noise
  • Employee must provide their own high-speed internet service (a portion will be reimbursed after probationary period)
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English

Assets

  • Some prior background/experience in the Property claims industry would be considered an asset.
