Overview:
Oversight of all reauthorizations and PAR related stopped/held revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company and all applicable insurance guidelines respecting eligibility for coverage and reimbursement.
- Oversee team working reauthorizations for various product groups
- Delegate work daily/weekly to team members.
- Monitor/maintain PAR expired invoice holds, as well as escalate common trends that result in error.
- Monitor/maintain Stopped orders due to authorization issues or insurance changes that need authorization
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information.
- Participate in educational programs and training as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Well organized, detail oriented and possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Works well independently.
- Ability to function well while involved in multiple task assignments and in a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook
Education/Training:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum of two years of billing/AR experience
- Experience working with medical documentation and insurance companies is preferred
- Experience with insurance authorizations is preferred
- Brightree experience preferred
